Internship in the field of PV Technology

The Institute for Renewable Energy offers

Master thesis and/or internship in the field of PV Technology

within the framework of an ongoing monitoring project. The project aims at monitoring the performance of different PV systems in Northern Italy to allow a better understanding of loss mechanisms and an evaluation of performance ratio and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of data acquisition
  • Analysis of monitored data
  • Simulation of the monitored plant with specialized software 
  • Collaboration in the development of performance models
    Simulation of these performance models Requirements
  • Student in engineering or physic (Master)
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic technologies
  • Good knowledge of control systems
  • Sound skills in MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of German or Italian, written
     and spoken
  • Good knowledge of English, written and spoken

Period of the activities
Starting in September-October up to 6-10 months.

We offer
Technical and scientific assistance during the master thesis as well as the opportunity to work in a team of young people and to interact with scientists at international level. Financial support is provided.
