Conference
The aim of this conference is to provide an overview of the state of the art in research on lesser used languages, with special reference to their computational support.
Central to the conference are methodological issues such as:
- strategies for an efficient support of lesser used languages,
- problems with theoretical approaches developed for major languages when applied to lesser used languages and
- the cultural, economical and political specificity of a user group for which computational resources are created.
Furthermore, the conference intends to promote the networking among participants in order to enhance the exchange of information, experience and resources.
Format of the conference The conference will comprise invited talks and oral presentations.
