e-LIS it is a new research project concerned with Italian Sign Language (LIS).  Its objective is to develop the basis for a bilingual electronic LIS-Italian dictionary to be made available to the public free of charge via the internet.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with the small ALBA cooperative of Turin, and with the financial support of the European Social Fund and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol.
