During the project a series of documents have been prepared on the conditions and processes leading to social exclusion of TCNs and on the common issues and best practices in preventing and combating social exclusion from the three examined areas (South Tyrol, Styria and London). Particular attention was paid to the differences existing in the legal systems and regulatory framework of those areas that contribute to maximise the potential EU-wide applicability of the Lisi indicators.
The research has been conducted through an integrated and multidimensional approach and has taken into consideration various aspects of the social exclusion experienced by the target group. The Lisi partners have worked in close cooperation with local authorities as well as representatives of the target groups, ngos active in the fight against social exclusion, experts and other civil actors engaged in addressing problems centered around social exclusion of the new minorities.
The LISI Project has received funding from the European Commission.
