Research Collaboration

Thai Constitution Project
This is being undertaken in collaboration with Centre for Global and Comparative Law  and Governance at SOAS and with partner Thai Institutions including NIDA, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University. Present work is leading up to a major international conference to be help under the auspices of KPI in Bangkok, November 2006. Funding obtained from the British Academy.


European Funding Bid
London Metropolitan/North London University participated in bid for research funding into Regional and Political Sub-Systems in Europe, social capital, political institutions and policy delivery at the root of European governance in 2002. This is in collaboration with the University of Bologna, Istituto Cattaneo, CIRIEC – Italian section of the International Center of Research and Information on the Public and Cooperative Economy, and Bath University.


Comparative Public Law Workshops and Associated Publications
This is a combined initiative addressing questions of comparative public law with University of Bologna, Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development, Spisa and John Hopkins University. Further workshops and publications are planned 2004-2006.
