The "Yearbook on Federalism", edited by Prof. Hrbek of the European Center for Research on Federalism (EZFF) in Tübingen, Germany, is based on an international network of authors, bringing together legal scholars and political scientists as well as academics and practitioners, who meet and discuss current issues regularly during their annual workshops dedicated to specific research questions and topics.
The Researchers of the Institute are active members of this network and contribute regularly to the Yearbook. In November 2006, the Institute hosted the annual workshop in Bolzano discussing the controversial issue of "Asymmetric Federalism" from a comparative perspective.
