since July 2006 Scientific collaborator at European Academy Bolzano (EURAC). 
2005 - 2006 Diploma thesis at EURAC, Institute for Alpine Environment:   
»Development and application of a GIS-based indicator system
  on sustainability on landscape level within the alpine space«
2004 - 2005 Studies of Informatics at the University of Trento, Italy, within the 
Erasmus programme.
2003 - 2004 Field works in high mountain areas as an undergraduate assistant 
at the University of Augsburg and at the TU Munich (Germany).
2003 Trainee and undergraduate assistant at the Institute of Meteorology
and Climate Research – Atmospheric Environmental Research Di-
vision (IMK-IFU) at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
2000 - 2006 Studies in Geography at the University of Augsburg. Specialisation 
in Physical Geography, Spatial Planning and Geoinformatics (TU  
Munich).
