The EURAC library consists in a research library (EURAC library) and a specialised library on environment and ecology (ECO library).


EURAC library

The EURAC library is a publicly accessible, specialised scientific library. It supports the research carried out at the Academy, as well as other scientific work, further education and information. For this purpose it collects, makes accessible and lends current publications and information media on EURAC’s main research areas and subjects: applied linguistics, minorities and autonomies, sustainable development, management & organisational culture and life sciences. External users can consult the library’s resources in the reading room (reference library).




ECO library

The ECO library is the largest library in South Tyrol specialising in the environment and ecology. Its facilities are available to all those interested and it offers support in particular to educational institutions such as schools and public libraries. For this purpose it collects, makes accessible and lends media on the following topics: nature and environmental protection, ecology, building biology, horticulture, agriculture, nutrition and naturopathy, as well as walking, travel, sports and games. All resources are freely accessible and may be borrowed. Special media packages are available for schools and other institutions.
