The upcoming conference EnviroInfo Ispra 2011 brings together experts in the field of processing environmental information. The conference, held in Ispra, Italy from October 5th to 7th, focuses on the use of cutting edge technology for the monitoring of environmental status and threats, integrated environmental assessment and reporting, the modelling of environmental changes, environmental management information systems, as well as the analysis of the interplay between society and the environment.
At the conference, Christian Steurer is presenting EOMOUNT—EURAC’s remote sensing service, which delivers near-real-time satellite data at a local and regional level for a wide variety of clients and applications.
