Contribution to OECD-ERSA Winter School 2019
In January CAS' Roland Benedikter took part as a speaker in the OECD-ERSA Winter School 2019 about "Spatial productivity for regional and local development". The school is organised by the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development in cooperation with the European Regional Science Association ERSA. In his lecture Roland characterised the six dimensions of regional and local development in a "glocal" framework and the task of how to attract the best talents to the Autonomous Province of South Tyrol, making it a case of human resource management at the interface between globalisation and local needs. Roland's contribution was joined by a lecture on “Future spaces?! Europe, alpine space and South Tyrol” by the Head of the Eurac Institute for Regional Development, Thomas Streifeneder.
