In this page are listed all the projects and initiatives that see involved our researchers in the
diffusion of electric mobility. Eurac research provides
scientific support to both private companies and authorities on energy efficiency and saving, energy transition and implementation of integrated energy systems. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
|Testing on new generation charging stations|
Accelerated ageing tests and environmental stress on the charging stations produced by the South Tyrolean company
Alpitronic. For more information contact:
|Mobility and sustainable tourism with electric vehicles|
The Interreg Italy-Switzerland project Mobster sees our experts involved in the development of strategies for the
diffusion of charging infrastructures, new business models and dedicated information tools to encourage the use and purchase of
new electric vehicles and reach a greater awareness of the issue of electric mobility.
|Electric and hydrogen mobility|
is partner of the new project LIFE Zero Emission IP
which aims to
introduce the largest number of zero emission cars and vehicles on the provincial territory by 2025
and to significantly reduce the pollution of the Alpine area using the abundant hydropower and other renewable resources available in the area.
Electric mobility: charging stations and incentives|
Study by Eurac Research
in collaboration with Green Mobility, Alperia and Jaguar Land Rover on the prerequisites for increasing electric mobility in South Tyrol and regions with similar characteristics. Here the results of the survey. Read also the
scientific article"Can we hope for a collective shift in electric vehicle adoption? Testing salience and norm-based interventions in South Tyrol, Italy
|Transition towards "smart city"|
The Horizon 2020 project
faces the urban challenges planing and implementing smart and innovative solutions in three key-sectors: Energy efficiency, ICT and mobility. It's in the field of mobility that our researchers are involved in the elaboration of a plan for the
development of charging points,
introduction of electric vehicles
and in the
spread of car-sharing services
Transition towards connected and autonomous electric vehicles|
Eurac research is partner of the ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems
EVA project, which aims to find out
innovative solutions to coordinate and optimise the territorial infrastructures needed for
emerging technologies in road mobility:
electric vehicles (EV) and connected autonomous vehicles (CAV).
|Ideal allocation of charging stations for electric cars|
the best places in Bolzano to locate new charging stations. The methodology for making the maps is accessible free of charge - for use by public administrators who want to design the city from a smart perspective.
The study was developed by Eurac researchers in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre, the research center of the European Union, and it's available at this link.
