Karin Amor studied ecology at the University of Innsbruck.
For 4 years she was a junior researcher at the Alpenforschungsinstitut of Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany).
Since 2000 she workes at EURAC
A great experience was the organisation of the first italian science festival, EURAC science festival explOra! 2002. After that she became part of the staff of EURAC convention center. She organised many big conferences and after an intensive training she became a certified meeting planner (CMP).
Since 2009 she is part of the scientific communication staff. As mother of two little boys she workes part time. Her main fileds of activity are the projects of EURAC junior and every second year the co-ordination and organisation of the internal events of EURAC for the "Lange Nacht der Forschung - Lunga notte della ricerca" of Bozen/Bolzano, which is part of the European researcher's night.
