My work seeks to:

• identify transformative actions and practices towards just and sustainable futures;
  
• understand how interacting clobal and regional changes affect collective resource governance in mountain regions and to detect patterns and mechanisms driving these transformations;
• work with mountain communities and stakeholders to catalyze trasformations with a transdisciplinary approach;
  
• contribute to re-define ethical and mutually benefitting relationship between science and society;

My project typically combine qualitative and participatory methods, including local knowledge, with quantitative ones.

Aside from working in academic settings, I am committed to enable thriving mountain communities and habitats through participating associations and non governmental organizations.
