About

Erika Schläppi is an experienced consultant and expert on human rights and governance issues. Trained as an attorney at law in Switzerland, her knowledge of human rights (including women’s rights and gender), governance (incl. political participation, decentralization and local governance), justice reforms and access to justice work stems from different professional perspectives, including academic research, international governmental policy, non-governmental advocacy, and many years of consultancy work all over the world. She advises and supports a variety of stakeholders in assessing the context, devising strategies and planning for interventions, implementing and evaluating programs and projects, and capacity building. She is a co-founder of the Swiss think tank and consultancy company Ximpulse which is part of the LoGov consortium.
