Gemma is a British photographer and filmmaker from the UK and has been based in Italy since 2007. Her artistic works focus on issues of identity and belonging as well as postmemory and family histories. She recently completed a masters in Visual Anthropology from HMKW Berlin and currently works for the Sardinia Film Commission where she coordinates international productions and the Sardinian animation school.
