PhD opportunity in Advanced-System Engineering at UniBZ, in collaboration with Center for Sensing Solutions
Our Center for Sensing Solutions - Eurac Research is funding a a three-year scholarship in the framework of the Public Competition for PhD programmes 40th cycle promoted by the Libera Università di Bolzano, for an innovative research project in the field of MACHINE LEARNING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLIED TO ROBOTICS FOR KEY ALPINE APPLICATIONS.
The project aims to develop machine learning and artificial intelligence methods and algorithms to improve perception, navigation and manipulation capabilities and interaction between UAVs and robots in complex and dynamic alpine environments, with applications in areas such as alpine safety, and agriculture. The selected candidate will be enrolled in the doctoral programmme in Advanced System Engineering at Libera Università di Bolzano and will be supervised by Prof. Karl von Ellenrieder and Dr. Abraham Mejia Aguilar. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructures, both at Center for Sensing Solutions and at unibz, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with academic and industrial partners of national and international standing.
