Terminology work and translation data can only remain valuable to users if they are regularly maintained and updated. Superseded information can lead to serious mistakes in text reception, drafting and translation. For this reason, it is important that any terminology and translation infrastructure be kept up to date from a content but also infrastructural point of view. The main objective of the TTI project is to ensure the quality, long-term interoperability and possibilities of interchange (e.g. by complying to relevant ISO standards) of the terminology and translation data available at the Institute for Applied Linguistics in Italian, German, Ladin and English.
