INQUIMUS workshop

  • English

The Institute for Earth Observation together with the GLOMOS Centre are part of the organizing team of the the INQUIMUS workshop series, which 7th edition is taking place place between March 30th and 31st at IIASA premises in Laxenburg, Austria.

The INQUIMUS workshops series (lat. “we say”) started in 2014 in response to a perceived need for an open forum to discuss challenges and opportunities for the integration of quantitative and qualitative assessment methodologies for multi-dimensional phenomena thanks to the collaboration between the Department of Geoinformatics – Z_GIS at the University of Salzburg, Austria and Eurac Research.

This year’s INQUIMUS workshop’s main topic explores transformational risk management and the suitable approaches for assessing climate-related (residual) risks. In this highly interactive workshop, scientists and practitioners working in different fields have the opportunity to share their work and discuss best practices in different application contexts, towards an advancement of scientific concepts, methods and tools.
