Kick off meeting: project IMPETUS
- English
The project IMPETUS, officially starts on October, 1rst with the related kick off meeting.
In light of inexorable climate change, urgent measures are increasingly needed to build climate resilience and adaptive capacity.
One of the central factors of the project is the creation of several Resilience Knowledge Boosters (RKBs) in the seven biogeographic areas of the EU (continental, coastal, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Arctic, boreal and mountain). The RKBs are a space for promoting knowledge as a basis for resilience, where all stakeholders come together to co-create and assess pathways for sustainable adaptation, but will also have a virtual dimension where data, knowledge and experiences related to climate change will be integrated to facilitate data exchange between stakeholders and regions during the co-creation process and ultimately support policy and decision making.
