In both Tyrol and South Tyrol, Eurac Research has built up GemNova.net, a vast network for innovation in administrations which aims to promote cooperation between the region’s municipalities and to support them on their way to ecological, economic and social sustainability. In this way, leadership and management in municipalities as well as local communities are strengthened, and furthermore they are enabled to develop a clear and sustainable municipality brand profile from which public servants, citizens, companies and tourists can benefit equally.
