The term Spending Review refers to the systematic examination of all public administration expenses. For example, does a financial contribution really lead to its intended success? Are there alternative possibilities for supporting citizens and companies? And most important of all: do subsidies cost the taxpayer more than they actually bring in? These are the questions that Spending Reviews try to answer.
