The project has the aim to investigate current trands and characteristics in sport tourism related to sailing (sail boat, surf, kite surf, sup), to evaluate the relationships with other outdoor and water sports and to define product development and marketing guidelines for the tourism destination Alto Garda. Development opportunities and strategies are summarized in a roadmap to be addressed to regional and local tourism organizations, tourism enterprises and other service providers. The roadmap will include also some general remarks for the Trentino lake system, with specific focus on the lakes Caldonazzo and Levico, Cavedine and Toblino, Pinè, Ledro and Molveno.
