The goal of the project is to develop and test a methodological framework to support the decision-making process in planning energy renovation interventions of a real estate asset (buildings, infrastructures) and allow the achievement of energy efficiency and sustainability objectives while minimizing costs.

The project develops methodologies for the organization of information, the division into homogeneous clusters by characteristics, optimization of costs and operating parameters, the estimation of technical and economic performance.

The project will provide a series of fundamental methodologies and tools for the preparation of an effective plan for the renovation of a real estate asset considering cost and economic value constraints, but also the contribution to the achievement of sustainability targets, such as environmental impact and user satisfaction. The generated renovation plan will therefore contain the planning of renovation interventions for each cluster and up to the granularity of the individual building, in terms of type of interventions, economic savings, operational management strategy, strategy to improve use by users.
