Consultation and Study Visits
Over several decades, the Institute for Minority Rights has gained national and international reputation in the field of minority and indigenous peoples' rights.
We consult on issues related to, inter alia:
- political and economic participation
- autonomy arrangements in pluri-ethnic societies
- human rights
- conflict prevention
- peaceful coexistence
Through our research and consulting activities and close cooperation with universities, governments, NGOs and international organizations, as well as our expertise and well-stocked library, our Institute has become a key resource for scholars, students, high-ranking officials, minority representatives, civil servants or human rights activists.
Numerous delegations from private and public institutions, local and regional governments come for study visits to the Institute to gain insight into our activities as well as the history and autonomy of South Tyrol.
