Education-Training on the effects of exposure to high altitudes on human physiology
- Project duration: January 2020 - October 2020
- Project status: Finished
- Funding: Private organisations (Other projects /Project)
- Total project budget: €10,000.00
The test procedure consists of reproducing the conditions at high altitude and its real and measurable effects on the human body. In the chamber, there will be students of high-altitude physiology course at the University of Ulm (Germany) who will exercise at increasing levels of effort on a cyclo-ergometer. During the exercise, the students themselves will measure the impact of the reduced partial pressure of oxygen on the performance of the human body with special instruments.
