Short CV:

PD Katharina Crepaz PhD is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Autonomy Experience, Eurac Research. She holds Mag. Phil. (M.A.) degrees in Political Science and English and American Studies and a B.A. in Scandinavian Studies from the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna, Austria. She completed her PhD in Political Science at the University of Innsbruck in 2015. In 2020, she obtained her habilitation from the Technical University of Munich, and was awarded the venia legendi (ability to teach) in Health Sciences with Special Focus on Diversity Governance. As a Privatdozentin (lecturer with habilitation) she still teaches at TUM, mainly on gender and diversity and on the social determinants of health. In December 2022, she was awarded the Habilitation Prize of the Freunde der TUM e.V.

Katharina Crepaz has been working at Eurac since March 2020, first as part of the Institute for Minority Rights, from October 2022 to April 2023 at the Center for Advanced Studies, and since May 2023 at the Center for Autonomy Experience. Before coming to Bozen/Bolzano, she was a post-doctoral research associate at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy (Fellow-Group: "Dis[cover]ability and Indicators for Inclusion" and at the Chair of Sociology of Diversity, Technical University of Munich, Germany, from 2015 to 2020. From 2016-2019, she was also an external lecturer at the Institute for Political Science, University of Innsbruck, Austria.
