Short CV:

Joana Bastos is a Senior Researcher and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. She holds a Ph.D in Sustainable Energy Systems (MIT-Portugal Program), from the University of Coimbra (2017), and a 6-year graduate degree in Architecture, from the Technical University of Lisbon (2008). Since 2012, she has associated her professional experience in architecture with research on sustainable urban development. Joana has published 6 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, presented over 25 papers and talks in scientific events, and participated in several R&D projects, mostly on the application of the environmental impact assessment of urban areas and systems (incl. LCA, urban metabolism, circular economy).
