EDIS - Urbanisierte indigene Migranten und (neue) religiöse Minderheiten (U-I-MIR): Rechte und Resilienz

Das Projekt "Urbanisierte indigene Migranten und (neue) religiöse Minderheiten: Rechte und Resilienzen" (U-I-MIR) konzentriert sich auf zwei Minderheiten innerhalb der (neuen) Minderheiten, nämlich jene der urbanisierten indigenen Migranten sowie jene der religiösen Minderheiten mit Migrationshintergrund. Das Gesamtziel dieses Projekts besteht darin zu analysieren, ob diese beiden Minderheiten innerhalb der (neuen) Minderheiten in der Lage sind, ihre (Menschen-, Minderheiten- und/oder indigenen) Rechte auszuüben oder einzufordern und ihre Resilienzen in den für sie teilweise neuen urbanen Kontexten zu stärken. Es wird untersucht, ob (und wenn ja, warum) sie Ungleichheit, Diskriminierungspraktiken, Hassreden, usw. (z.b., Islamophobie, Antisemitismus) ausgesetzt sind und was dies für die Ausübung ihrer Rechte und ihre (potenzielle) Widerstandsfähigkeit bedeutet. Eine weitere Dimension dieses Projekts befasst sich mit der Rolle der Diaspora im Prozess der Anpassung an kulturelle Vielfalt und beim Aufbau einer integrierten Gesellschaft. Schließlich wird das Projekt den Schutz und die Förderung indigener Völker und religiöser Minderheiten in städtischen Kontexten bei den Vereinten Nationen ermitteln und gegenüberstellen.
