My research focuses on plurilingual and intercultural education. My interests also include the use of technologies in the development of language skills and intercultural competence, English-Medium Instruction, English as a lingua franca (ELF) communication, internationalisation of education, and applied corpus linguistics.
About myself: I conduct research in the field of bi/plurilingual education. I am currently responsible for a research and training initiative on plurilingual education at Eurac Research (Bolzano, Italy), in which the focus is on the valorisation of primary school children's full linguistic repertoires.
I previously worked as post-doc assistant researcher at the University of Padova, where I conducted research into students' perceptions of and experiences with learning subject content in English-Medium Instruction settings.
From 2013 to 2015 I worked as an assistant researcher within the LEAP (Learning English for Academic Purposes) Project, with the aim of providing support to lecturers involved in English-Medium Instruction (EMI) at the University of Padova. I have also been the coordinator of the University Language Centre’s EMI support programme and head of the International Relations and Erasmus+ Office at Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici (Padova).
