Climate Change and extreme events in the Alpine area: how to be prepared

Unser Institut ist Gastgeber der internationalen Konferenz "Klimawandel und Extremereignisse im Alpenraum: Wie kann man sich vorbereiten".

Der Workshop findet am Dienstag, den 13. Dezember 2022 von 9:30 bis 17:00 Uhr in den Räumlichkeiten der Eurac Research statt.

Die Veranstaltung wird im Rahmen des TRANSALP-Projekts organisiert, das von der Europäischen Kommission finanziert wird.

Die Veranstaltung zielt darauf ab, die Bereitschaft der alpinen Gebiete gegenüber den Risiken des Klimawandels und extremer Ereignisse zu erhöhen, indem die Aufmerksamkeit der lokalen und regionalen Behörden und politischen Entscheidungsträger auf die Bedrohungen, aber auch auf die verfügbaren Instrumente und Möglichkeiten gelenkt wird.
