For the Alpine Region to become “greener and smarter” and be at the forefront of the transition
towards carbon neutrality and climate resilience within the EU, innovative transnational cooperation &
harmonized decision-making processes are crucial. EUSALP decision-makers need reliable macroregional
energy data to define, implement & monitor the effectiveness of their energy policies in order
to meet the relevant 2030&2050 EU targets. CERVINO focuses on facilitating energy data exchange within the Alpine territory to support the decision-making process, by setting-up a stable & reliable system that will enable better collection, management, update and use of Alpine energy data.
