Regional Energy Modelling Land Salzburg

The commissioned project entails the realisation of an analysis of the Salzburg Land energy system for the identification of the optimal costs and CO2 emissions scenarios.

Development

The project started in 2019 and was completed in spring 2021. For its realisation EPLANopt, the energy modelling tool developed in Eurac Research, has been applied.  Results: a Net Zero Carbon Energy scenario 2050 and an intermediate scenario for 2030 are expected
