EU BON entwickelt einen innovativen Ansatz für ein Biodiversitäts-Informationssystem, das Daten verschiedener Herkunft intergriert, von Fernerkundungsdaten bis hin zu bodengestützten Daten. Ziel ist es, zeitnahe Information für Politik und andere Anwender zur Verfügung zu stellen. EURAC hat eine kleine Rolle in Task 3.1, der sich mit Tools für die Intepretation von Satellitenbildern beschäftigt.
