Solo se intensificheremo i nostri sforzi nella valorizzazione e nell’uso sostenibile degli edifici storici saremo in grado di raggiungere gli ambiziosi obiettivi di mitigazione del cambiamento climatico e di proteggere le caratteristiche intrinseche al paesaggio culturale Alpino. Questa è una missione per la quale dovremo coinvolgere tutta la società civile. Il progetto ATLAS mira alla riscoperta della architettura tradizionale (edifici e contesto), tutelata e non. Questi edifici sono spesso localizzati in aree degradate e presentano bassi livelli di efficienza energetica e di comfort. Il progetto mira a tracciare la strada per uno sviluppo sostenibile delle strutture storiche. Questo includerà la capitalizzazione e l’ottimizzazione delle migliori soluzioni di intervento per l’efficientamento degli edifici e per lo sviluppo regionale. Gli Stakeholders dell'intero processo e i decision-makers sono inseriti in una rete per garantire la sostenibilità da un punto di vista sociale, ecologico e culturale.

Guidelines for renovation of historic buildings

These guidelines are intended to explain to interested owners as well as professional planners the fundamental steps towards the concept definition for a sustainable renovation of a historic building providing a basis for further planning and implementation.
