One drop of unity within an ocean of differences
Sometimes a single drop can change the course of an ocean. After the victory against the Gambia, the Comoros football team, our drop, has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. So, who are the team and where exactly are these islands? The Comoros are a union of three islands, jointly four times smaller than Corsica, with less than a million inhabitants. Furthermore, the region doesn’t even have a stadium approved for international matches. Yet, the Comoros are soon to be part of the Cup.
