Corruption and violation: suppression of press freedom and justice in the Western Balkans
Respect for the [rule of law](https://lospiegone.com/2020/09/28/il-paradosso-della-rule-of-law-in-europa-ossia-come-lue-inciampa-tra-presente-e-futuro/) in [Serbia](https://lospiegone.com/2018/09/01/balcani-in-pillole-serbia/), [Bosnia and Herzegovina](https://lospiegone.com/2017/12/17/balcani-in-pillole-bosnia-erzegovina/) and [Kosovo](https://lospiegone.com/2018/03/24/balcani-in-pillole-kosovo/) shows similarities due to the close relationship between government, media and courts. However, attention should also be focused on the peculiarities that characterise the independence of the judiciary and freedom of the press in these three countries.
