Dubravka Jurlina Alibegović

Dubravka Jurlina Alibegović (PhD) is a senior research fellow in a permanent position and deputy head of the Department for Regional Development at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb, Croatia. Her research interests include local public finance, fiscal decentralization, intergovernmental fiscal relations, and local and regional development. She has published numerous papers on research topics such as local government, local fiscal autonomy, local budgeting, local development, and performance measurement. She was a member in the Committee for decentralization appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Negotiating team for the field of regional policy in the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union, She was the Director of the Institute of Economics, Zagreb, the Minister of Public Administration and the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology in the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
