Conflicts and feminist peacebuilding: From Bosnia to Gaza, the troubled development of the United Nations’ Women, Peace and Security Agenda
When we think of war, we still, primarily picture men - soldiers, generals, negotiators. Yet women have always been part of these stories, too: as survivors, peacebuilders, and witnesses to the cost of conflict and much more. This autumn offers a moment to reflect on their role, as the world marks 25 years of the UN Women, Peace and Security Agenda and 30 years since the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
