A Deal is a Deal. What’s next for the Citizens’ Climate Assembly in South Tyrol?
On 14 June 2025, policymakers met the Citizens’ Council for Climate and the Stakeholder Forum at NOI Techpark in Bolzano/Bozen to provide feedback on their policy recommendations. Developed from January to June 2024, these recommendations aimed at improving the Autonomous Province of South Tyrol’s [2040 Climate Plan](https://www.klimaland.bz/it/piano-clima-alto-adige-2040/). Over the past year, the Citizens’ Council for Climate and the Stakeholder Forum produced around 600 proposals to be discussed. During this event, policymakers explained which proposals had been accepted and which had not, evaluating the proposals on economic feasibility, legal competence, and coherence with the local government’s political line.
