We develop computational and statistical methods for large-scale human genetic studies and apply them to advance the understanding of health and disease. Our gene-mapping research spans a broad spectrum of complex traits and makes full use of diverse omics datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and microbiomics.
A central focus of our work is creating computational approaches that help researchers translate omics data into actionable insights, ultimately contributing to precision health strategies for all. We have also led the development of widely used open-source tools, such as Minimac and the Michigan Imputation Server.
