The GLOMOS team at IMC2025

Our GLOMOS team has been actively involved in the thirs edition of the International Mountain Conference (IMC2025), that took place between 14-18 September in Innsbruck, Austria. GLOMOS has contributed to several focus sessions and workshops addressing some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities in mountain regions worldwide.

From harnessing indigenous and local knowledge, to addressing systemic risks, water management, adaptation strategies, and building bridges between science, policy, and practice, we have been presenting and collaborating across multiple sessions.

It was great to see many new and long-date colleagues at this IMC2025, and we thank all of those who joined our sessions to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss together efforts towards resilient and sustainable mountain futures.
