Europe in Action: Research and Innovation in South Tyrol

Eurac Research took part in the Autumn Fair held at Fiera Bolzano – Messe Bozen, within the exhibition “EU in my region”, promoted by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. The exhibition showcased 14 projects supported by European funding and highlighted their contribution to research, innovation, and regional development.

Together with our partners, we presented several ongoing projects funded through European programmes, including CELLMED and InnoCHIP. CELLMED focuses on strengthening biomedical research laboratories through the acquisition of advanced technologies and infrastructures, while InnoCHIP supports the transfer of Organ-on-Chip methodologies into the biomedical sector, fostering innovation and collaboration between research and industry.

Participation in the fair provided an opportunity to present these projects to a broad audience, increase their visibility at regional level, and underline the role of European funds in supporting research excellence and technological development in South Tyrol.
