ASEN conference on “Nationalism and Borders”

The researchers Andrea Carlà and Marcus Nicolson attended the ASEN conference on “Nationalism and Borders” held at the Central European University in Budapest - https://asen.ac.uk/conference/. Andrea discussed the evolution of South Tyrolean political, administrative and cultural borders in the context of more recent dynamics related to increasing global mobility, populist nationalizing agenda, and transnational initiatives, whereas Marcus presented some of the results of the B-SHAPES project exploring the narratives concerning identity and belonging of young minority members in border regions of South Tyrol and Silesia.
