Student Minority Projects Challenge - 2026 edition

We are pleased to launch the 2026th edition of the Student Minority Projects Challenge with this message from UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues Nicolas Levrat:
The situation of minority communities remains urgent, and innovative solutions are needed to improve their circumstances.
We invite individual students or student groups to propose original ideas on how to improve the fate of minority communities. Your project can focus globally, or locally—within your university, city, or neighborhood—as long as it is innovative and impactful. All types of formats are welcome.

The most promising projects will receive a unique opportunity: the winning team will be invited to Geneva at the end of November to participate in the UN Forum on Minority Issues and present their idea on a global stage.

The deadline is 15 June 2026. Solo or group projects created during the 2025-2026 academic year may be submitted in diverse formats, including reports, workshops, podcasts, videos, and more.
