Imagine Peace has been recognised as a Best Practice project by the Creative Europe Desk Austria, the Austrian contact point for the EU Creative Europe programme at the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport. The feature highlights the project as an inspiring example of European cultural cooperation and underlines its contribution to sustainability, social dialogue and transnational learning.
Bringing together five European light festivals, Imagine Peace explores how light art and cultural events can create spaces for reflection on peace, sustainability and social cohesion. Eurac Research and the University of Innsbruck contribute as scientific partners, carrying out sustainability audits, visitor surveys and impact analyses. Their work provides valuable insights into how cultural events can raise awareness of sustainable development across social, economic and environmental dimensions.
