About

Geoscientist with a PhD in natural disaster risk quantification and extensive experience in multi-hazard risk modelling, impact forecasting, and geospatial analysis.

Currently, he is the Head of the ‘Natural Hazard’ research line at EURAC Research within the Institute for Climate Change and Transformation. Before joining EURAC in 2024, he served as a Research Associate at the University of Durham (UK) and as a Risk Scientist at GNS Science in New Zealand. His career spans both academic research and experience in the private sector.

His primary research interests include: probabilistic and cascading multi-hazard risk assessment, network-based simulation of natural disasters, and the integration of new technology and sciences in Disaster Risk Reduction
