About

Research topics

  • Retrieval of biophysical variables (soil moisture, vegetation water content, snow cover fraction, snow water equivalent, albedo)
  • Development of innovative retrieval approaches by exploiting synergy of multi-sensor data (optical and radar) and physical based models
  • Analysis of snow cover changes at global scale by merging Earth Observation and reanalysis datasets.
  • Remote sensing of cryosphere and water resources in mountain areas
