About
Hamid is a Natural Risk Management Engineer and PhD candidate in Security, Risk and Vulnerability at the University of Genoa, working in collaboration with Eurac Research on climate risk and water system resilience. His research focuses on how hydroclimatic hazards, sectoral water demands, and governance responses interact to generate socioeconomic drought, persistent water stress, and maladaptive dynamics in Alpine regions. His interests include climate stress testing, socio-hydrology, multi-risk assessment, and system-based approaches for understanding vulnerability pathways and supporting adaptive water management under future climate extremes.
