About

Nora Dejaco develops and leads interdisciplinary initiatives at the intersection of science, technology, culture and societal transformation.

Throughout her career, she has built innovation programmes, festivals, public engagement formats and collaborative initiatives that connect research, industry, creative practice and society. Her work is driven by the belief that meaningful societal transformation emerges when different disciplines, sectors and ways of knowing are brought into dialogue.

Within the technology and industrial innovation sector, she has contributed to the development of innovation ecosystems and experimental formats that translate emerging technologies into collaborative spaces for exchange, learning and future-oriented thinking.

She is the founder of Thrive+, an association and community dedicated to advancing gender equality and social transformation, and has been an active member of Schmusechor, a queer-feminist performance collective based in Vienna, for almost a decade.

At Eurac Research, she leads the development of the Futurological Congress, an interdisciplinary platform that brings together science, technology, the arts and society to explore how we collectively shape the future.
