Eurac Research has been commissioned by Brixen Tourismus Gen. to carry out a sustainability audit on the Water Light Festival 2023. The project aims to comprehensively analyse the festival in terms of sustainability. The three dimensions of sustainability - economy, ecology, and society - are dealt with at the levels of management, processes, and results.
The sustainability check consists of two core elements. The first is a sustainability audit conducted with the organising committee and the second is a survey of residents and visitors. Both will be combined to obtain a holistic overview of the festival's sustainability. The economic, social, and environmental impacts of the festival, whether positive or negative, will be analysed and published in the form of a sustainability report.
The residents and visitor survey can be accessed at the following link from 03.05.2023 until 15.06.2023: https://de.eu.research.net/r/SGSGDT7
